Jim is a proven leader who believes that those in government must be accountable, responsible and transparent to its citizens and where limits placed on its powers should never be violated until the people change those boundaries.
For more than thirty years, Jim served with distinction in the United State Air Force, twenty of them as part of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) at Fort Bragg, NC. He has continues his service to his country as Director of Aircraft Integration and Innovation overseeing the integration and installation of state of the art airborne satellite terminals on to the United States Air Force’s elite Blue and White fleet of aircraft, which includes the VC-25A; AKA “Air Force One”
. A native of El Paso, Texas, Jim and his family chose McLendon-Chisholm for the same reasons that most do, for the city’s wide-open spaces, larger lots, and lower taxes.
Jim and his wife of thirty-six years, Valorie, credit their faith in Jesus Christ as sustaining them through the unimaginable grief of losing the eldest of their two daughters in a car accident on April 1st, 2002. They cherish their role as grandparents of their 12 year old grandson.
A true conservative, Jim is running to prevent needless government growth. He has already fought against those who have embraced and defended the big government mindset that has put our city into debt, threatened our wide open spaces & more rural lifestyle, and raised taxes without the knowledge or consent of the people.
Jim is an NRA Life Member and is a Concealed Carry Weapons licensee.
